Date Announced! This year's Rim Rock Marathon is Saturday, November 7, 2015 • 8am • Colorado National Monument
Join one of the most scenic marathons in the world. Winding over the Colorado National Monument (a unit of the national park system) from Grand Junction to Fruita, Colorado, this race boasts scenery like none other. Enjoy the peaceful course featuring views of towering monoliths, vast plateaus and canyon panoramas. You can experience sheer-walled, red rock canyons along the twists and turns of the course.
All proceeds from the U.S. Bank Rim Rock Marathon benefit Colorado Mesa University's Track & Field and Cross Country student athlete scholarships.

- Individual Marathon Participants
- Marathon Relay (two-person teams compete in the full marathon by each running an approximate 13.1 mile leg of the course)
Event pricing includes the registration fee, plus a $2 per runner fee for use of James M. Robb State Park and a $5 per runner fee for the use of the Colorado National Monument. All runners will receive a custom finisher medal, a commemorative technical t-shirt, special offers, food at the finish line and more.
Starting Line Location
Grand Junction Gem & Mineral Club (2328 Monument Road, Grand Junction, CO 81507)
In addition to individual marathoners, two-person teams can also compete in the race, each will run approximately a half marathon.
Finish Line Location
The race will finish in Fruita, Colorado at the James M. Robb State Park (595 CO HWY 340, Fruita, CO 81521)
A room block has been reserved at La Quinta Inn & Suites in Fruita (570 Raptor Road, Fruita, CO 81521), a very short walk from the James M. Robb State Park (finish area and start shuttle location).
